Aron Ain is chief executive officer of Kronos and a member of the Board of Directors. Since he joined Kronos in 1979, Ain has played a role in nearly every functional department at the company, helping to build what is today a $992 million global enterprise software powerhouse. With more than 20,000 organizations using Kronos solutions in more than 100 countries, Kronos is the global leader in the workforce management market.
Ain is regarded as a pioneer in workforce management innovation and has been instrumental in revolutionizing the way organizations manage their workforces with a new generation of products and services including industry-leading cloud,analytics, and mobile technologies. In recognition of Ain’s visionary leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and personal commitment to business and the community, Ernst & Young named him an Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012. Under Ain’s leadership, Kronos has been recognized for its innovative product offerings and energized “Top Place to Work” corporate culture.
Kronos has achieved tremendous global growth under Ain’s leadership, with operations and market leadership throughout the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA); Asia Pacific; and Latin America regions. As a result of driving the company’s global expansion, traveling the world to spend time with customers, and leading a multinational software company, Ain is well-versed on the complexities of managing a global workforce.

Ain believes that being an active participant in the broader community brings balance to his life. He is the chairman of the Board of Trustees of MetroWest Medical Center, one of the largest community healthcare systems in Massachusetts. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. In addition, Ain is frequently asked to share his experiences by speaking about entrepreneurship and the skills necessary to lead a successful global organization.
In addition to a bachelor’s degree in economics and government from Hamilton College, Ain has participated in a series of executive education programs, including the AEA/Stanford Executive Institute at Stanford University.
